Ofer Avidan
Ofer Avidan has been the CEO of the WFI Group for the last 12 years and is currently the CEO of ToxSorb as well. An accomplished agronomist both in Israel and abroad, Ofer has served as VP R&D for global organizations, specializing in agriculture in arid areas, hydroponic technology and the production of essential oils from plants. Ofer holds a B.Sc. in Agriculture and Plant Science from Hebrew University in Israel and is a graduate of the Tefen Entrepreneurs Program at Harvard Business School.

Liron Schich
As CFO of WFI, Liron is in charge of all the financial aspects of the group including all business units. Prior to his role at WFI, Liron worked as corporate controller of the Miya Group, an Arison Investment company specializing in the water industry. Previously, Liron worked for PwC IL for 6 years where he audited privately and publicly traded local and international companies, Liron holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Economics from Tel Aviv University.

Dana Hubner
VP Business Development
Dana has over 10 years’ marketing and business consulting experience in the life science, water and wastewater sectors. Prior to WFI Group, Dana was a senior consultant at the Global Incentives Department of Ernest and Young (E&Y) and Sales and Marketing Manager of BioSight, a biopharmaceutical company. Dana is co-founder and director of ‘Ruach Nechona’, a social action charity and is on the management board of the Israel Export Institute. She holds a B.Sc in Marine science from Ruppin College, Michmoret, and an MBA in International Management from the College of Management, Rishon Le’zion in Israel.

Yotam Gonen
A Co-Founder of Toxsorb, Yotam has been leading the research team since 2007. His scientific interests and areas of expertise include adsorption, surface chemistry, and the modelling of adsorption. Yotam is a senior faculty member at Tel-Hai Academic College and teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in Physics, Physical Chemistry, Programing and Solute Transport. He was granted the 2018 award for exceptional activity in the cleantech field awarded by the MASHOV group. Yotam holds a B.Sc in Biotechnology and Environmental Science from Tel-Hai Academic College, and a Ph.D. from the Hebrew University.

Rotem Sade
Head of Product Development
Rotem joined Toxsorb in 2014 after 10 years in academia. His mission in the company is to bridge the gap between technology and people – taking the great scientific and technological inventions and designing a process that can be used by people. He currently teaches Hydrology and Meteorology in Tel-Hai College. Former positions include Head of the Agricultural Department in the Golan Regional Council and Developer of the Decision Support System for the Water Management in the upper Jordan river catchment. Rotem holds an MSc. in Agricultural Science from the Hebrew University and a PhD in the field of hydrometeorology from the Technion.
Motto: It is the same with people as it is with riding a bike. Only when moving can one comfortably maintain one’s balance.
Hobbies: Sports activities such bike riding, running, skiing, and hiking in nature – with family and friends.
Ophira Natan
Project Manager
Ophira Natan began working at Triple-T and ToxSorb as an Engineer in 2011 and was promoted to a Project Manager at ToxSorb. Ophira is in charge of the entire project - from inception to delivery to the customer. Over the years, Ophira has worked on projects from the planning stage through authorities’ approvals and project budget control, and up to plant operation and transmittal to client. With Ophira, you can rest assured the project will be executed in the best possible way.
Ophira holds a B.Sc. in Environmental Engineering from the Technion.
